Building A Brighter Future for PCAS
We’re excited to share that we’ve officially broken ground on the new Piatt County Animal Shelter!
Located at 1203 Raymond Road—right across from the Robert Milligan Memorial Dog Park in Monticello, IL—this state-of-the-art facility will provide the space, comfort, and modern design our animals and staff deserve. Designed to bring in abundant natural light, the new shelter will give every animal a brighter, more calming environment, along with expanded space for housing, enrichment, medical care, and daily operations.
As we prepare for construction to begin in spring 2026, we urgently need community support to bring this vision to life. Every donation—big or small—helps us create a healthier, safer future for the animals who rely on us.
